Laptops for Financial Independence

Jotno Foundation will donate 20 laptops per year to young adults planning to launch their online freelance businesses. The recipients must demonstrate financial needs and complete an application to prove their eligibility for this program. Jotno will track their success for a year from the receipt of their laptops. We will be monitoring how these laptops are being used by recipient to further their financial independence.

Transforming Lives through Vocational Healthcare Training

At the Jotno Foundation, we believe the key to breaking the cycle of poverty is through education. Our flagship initiative focuses on identifying talented students from impoverished backgrounds and guiding them towards careers in allied health professions such as nursing, patient transport, and geriatric care. These professions are not just jobs but essential pillars of healthcare delivery in Bangladesh.

Jotno Scholarship Program

Jotno Foundation established a scholarship program for the Karnaphully Papermill School, Chandraghona, Bangladesh entitled, “Khaled Khanam and Mujahid Meah Memorial Scholarship”.  This program was launched early 2025 to sponsor 5 top ranked students in each grade, 6th through 10th. This program is funded by IslaMeah Family Foundation to commemorate their parents contributions to making education accessible to everyone regardless of their financial capacity.

Mr. Meah had an unwavering commitment to making education accessible to all. His tireless advocacy for educational equity inspired the Kennedy Foundation to partner with him in the remarkable transformation of a small, once neglected school into a nationally recognized institution — Narangari Government High School.

Mrs. Khanam was a dedicated schoolteacher at K.P.M. High School, where she not only imparted knowledge but also played a vital role in mentoring and guiding many of her junior colleagues, helping shape the next generation of educators.

One Laptop per Classroom

Jotno is committed to enhancing education at KPM High School by providing every classroom, from Kindergarten to 10th Grade, with a laptop by December 2025. Access to technology will enrich learning, expand opportunities, and equip students with essential digital skills for the future.

Each laptop costs only about $500 USD (in Bangladesh), and your support can make a lasting impact. Join us in bridging the digital divide—donate today and help transform education for these students!

Path to Excellence: Educator Bonus Program

At KPM School, our teachers are deeply passionate about their work, yet often go without the recognition they truly deserve. The Path to Excellence: Educator Bonus Program is designed to express our sincere appreciation for their unwavering dedication. This bonus serves as a token of gratitude for the incredible impact they have on their students and the community. Through this initiative, we aim to not only recognize the hard work of these educators but also inspire them to continue their invaluable contributions to education.

Our long-term vision is to expand this program to support KPM School and other schools in need across Bangladesh, fostering an environment where teachers feel valued and empowered to excel.

Jotno Emergency Fund for Medical Treatment
